"Work is a theater and every business a stage"
In my opinion, work is a world of actors and the establishment is where they show it all. Although not quite, in this environment, a person has to choose the character himself should show that differs among those he/she have shown his friends and families. One person has multiple faces as they say; a face that is shown to the family, a face that is shown to the friends, a face that only oneself could see, and a face that MUST be shown at work. Whatever problems or thoughts a person has, he/she has to set aside it once entered the workplace.

1. To sum it up, hospitality is a virtue, but isn't a necessarily all the time EXCEPT inside the workplace. I totally agree. But one must be hospitable in times of need not only outside the workplace.

2. One way to adequately prepare for a career in hospitality is through experience. Experience is the best teacher as they said, and I agree. It's better to start at the bottom. Once you got in the higher ranks, you'll be awarded with knowledge about each of your subordinate and their tasks.

3. A professional is the one who is ready for any situation may happen in a company. He/she can handle problems efficiently with minimal consequences. A professional knows how to work as an individual or a team. Learning how to listen to your peers is one act of a professionalism.

Hi! My name is Agustin Jake Baniqued, from Philippines. I finished bachelor of science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management back in the Philippines in 2018. I worked as a cashier/marketing/captain waiter in a bar named Comic Hall for 4 months from March 2019 to July 2019.

I expect to gather huge information from this course about managing an establishment, particularly on hotels, restaurants and bars. Not only that, I also look forward to elevate my skills to become a great hospitality employee.
