Economic progression starts from commodities to the highest level, which is experience. If business wants to be successful, they have to create true distinctive  instead of merely nice and easy experience. Poor customer experience would damage the business and it is why creating memorable experience for consumers is the backbone of the company. To be differentiated from competitors, businesses should come up with the plays, the dramas that they want to create and give employees the roles to play, help them characterize the roles because every single employee will help to create excellent customer experience on behalf of the business.

1.
Telfer analyzed different angles of hospitality which gave me more specific understanding about being hospitable. First, she mentioned “the good host” by giving examples, different conflicting ideas regarding the term and the equivalence between being a good host and being hospitable. I agree with her ideas that the host can be hospitable but being a good host is just a part of being hospitable. Second, she also mentioned “motives”  of being hospitable and third is “kind of guests”. Her ideas are comprehensive and supporting examples made her viewpoint became persuasive.
2.
First, it is “human capital”, which means knowledge, skills and abilities. I can be equipped with theories and knowledge at school, but it is not enough. The more important thing is “get in the door” and have real industry experience. I should look for companies, hotels that can provide me with opportunities to perform work that is valuable to me.
3.
It relates to unselfish commitment and altruism. It also refers to the attitude and the ways we serve and talk to customers. Professional can be shown by the confidence when dealing with problems at the workplace. Moreover, the ability to make independent decisions is also a factor.

Hello everyone, my name is Thao and I am from Viet Nam. I have never worked in a hotel before but I had nearly two years working in 2 Japanese restaurants in New Zealand. Therefore, I can have an idea of working and dealing with customers. It is hard sometimes but its worth it.
After this unit, I hope to successfully interact and serve customers by understanding their behaviours, attitudes. To be successful in this unit, I would read the theories, understand the terms and watch videos regarding each topics. And I hope the lecturer would be there to answer the questions and explain when I face difficulties in understanding the contents of the topics.
Thank you.
